I understand this is mainly to illustrate how this firearm works, but I think it would be much more impressive if the objects had been textured. I see it uses a little procedural texturing, unfortunately nothing painted, and no visible reflections.

You're right about the combustion bit, not where the firing pin strikes. M16/M4's use center fire cartridges, not rim fire.

0:27, that's somewhat nonsense. I'm sure combustion happens between the shell and the round, not the shell and the firing pin, and I'm sure the firing pin doesn't hit the centre of the shell base, but rather the edge instead.

1. Lefty shooter? 2. Probably a problem with the bullet, and I'm pretty sure he's just trying to show that the explosion is created by the pin at that point in time. 3. My guess is that, again, he just did that to show that there is an explosion taking place inside of the bullet, or was just having fun with it, like most people on the internet should start doing instead of be diamond manufacturing tight asses.

lol after all this work you'd think they would at least make the shells come out as they actually do. and for all the people who say that the animation of 0:30 is wrong, you're right. however, the shells do expand to the size of the chamber in the way shown here, just a lot faster and this animation is exagurated heavily to animate the movement.

I have never seen a bullet that looks like that (0:32). I could be wrong... But I mean, the bullets that I use don't have a narrow back... Mine are just flat on the back with a point in front with no weird dip. I don't see how that "dip" would help the bullet sit in the brass?

An interesting video, but if the explosive gases manage to except the chamber and appear between the bullet casing and firing pin, the user of this weapon is about to lose a finger, hand, eye, head or life.
